The theme of this project was to find a creative way to get people to care more about being responsible in nature. The organization Leave No Trace was perfect for this, since their mission was perfectly aligned with what I wanted to illustrate. The idea for this came to me from the saying “Leave no evidence”, in a crime related sense. That’s where I got the idea to try making different animals personified with a gangster aesthetic.
